LXDE is moving from GTK+ to Qt

Looks like gtk3 because of its frequent updates and API changes is not very popular among programmers http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_name=lxde-list, so LXDE developers decided to switch to Qt, perhaps they will merge with razor-qt in the future. There are already some applications ported like pcmanfm-qt, lximage-qt, even obconf-qt program used for configuring openbox, that is also used in alphaos http://lxde.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb-index.cgi

I have seen many programmers moving from GTK+ to Qt and this is something that has been worrying me for the past year.
You see, I love the look'n'feel of GTK+ apps and to be honest I don't like the look'n'feel of Qt that much.
Apparently for programmers it doesn't have anything to do with the look'n'feel of the UI, It seems to be the speed at which the API is developed and some other under-the-hood nits and bits.
Qt had some licensing issues but it is now "au pair" with GTK+ in that department too. So for me, I'm only worried about look'n'feel .

The GTK+ version of LXDE is still under development, but we did some experiments with Qt, too. Now I have some things to show you.
