Hi guys, I tried this las thing but i threw me out this:

[root@alphaos ~]# modprobe rtl8192se
[root@alphaos ~]# ifconfig wlan0
wlan0: error fetching interface information: Device not found
[root@alphaos ~]#

Any suggestions?

If this helps, i must say that I have no problems at all with this wireless card in any OS I have (Winbugs XP, Ubuntu 12.04, Xubuntu 13.04, even Puppy Precise 5.7.0 detects it very well).

I've got a similar issue with my wife's Eeepc wifi.
It works on all distros I've tried except alphaOS and the messages after modprobing are similar to ShadowReapers'.
The Eeepc uses a Broadcom BCM4313 chip.

This is in fact IMHO the biggest challenge to alphaOS.
As soon as these wifi issues are solved I am forgetting about all other distros.
Cheers
