evince menubar

Postby Marv » 31 Aug 2013, 01:13

is gone post 3.7.x. A giant step back IMHO. The icons on the rightmost toolbar tabs which access the file and view functions don't seem to follow Gtk3 theming (thanks, evince) and pretty much stink in Alpha or Adwaita or Shiki-Noveau-Humanoid themes. It's a transparency thing. I substituted the icons in the attached tarball and at least they are visible now. The originals could also be edited to make the bkg transparent

That's Gnome design decision to simplify look of their programs, and have just minimal buttons like Back, Next, and Preferences. Currently icons are standard symbolic icons from Faenza, I will see to replace them as you suggested.
