Postby ggg » 07 Feb 2015, 23:51

Hello , I hope we can continue AlphaOs , I've never had a better experience on Linux.

I have a problem when wanting to use yaourt :
[root@alphaos ~]# yaourt -Sy
==> WARNING: Building package as root is dangerous.
Please run yaourt as a non-privileged user.
:: Synchronizing package databases...
alphaos is up to date
core is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
archlinuxfr is up to date
multilib is up to date
package-query: error while loading shared libraries: libalpm.so.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
package-query: error while loading shared libraries: libalpm.so.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

First of all include more info in your questions otherwise it's a guessing game for me :(

checkout this post for yaourt viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1180&p=3370&hilit=yaourt#p3370

On second thought maybe you already did?

what package did install to get yaourt? root_friendly_yaourt_package-query-yajl.sb?

How did you install package-query

what is output of

Code: Select all

ls -l /usr/lib/libalpm*

Have you been playing around with dates for /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist?
what is content of /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
