Sometimes difficult times like this can also present themselves as opportunities.
simargl has been a good pal but he never showed much interest in involving more people in the project.
He is leaving the project but that's not a reason for being sad or to loose interest in alphaos. This can open the doors to more involvement from other users, from current users and even from users that still haven't joined the forum.
I think we should invest some of our time in a bit of publicity.
We should probably create an official youtube channel. We should use it to create small video clips that show the strengths of alphaos:
- it's blazing speed on bootup
- it's huge binary database (ARM)
- it's small footprint both in RAM and in HDD usage
- it's strong security. We can convert a savefile into a bundle and that way the OS will always boot with some of our tweaks but always clear of viruses/malware/keyloggers.
