Just noticed on the description that it doesn't have a gui.
Would be great to have a very simple gui to manage it.

As for experience, my laptop is plugged into a socket because the battery isn't working, so there is nothiing I can relay with regards to improvements in how long the battery lasts. However you can check to see for yourself how useful it is.
