Code: Select all
> su alpha
su: failed to execute /bin/bash: Permission denied
If you ever encounter it this may be your problem.
I wrote a script to load my .sb modules one at the time and then
test su alpha.
I found the .sb that was problematic.
At first glance nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
then I did a ls -la and got
Code: Select all
drwx------ 3 root root 26 May 31 19:10 ./
This is wrong, so I unsquashed .sb
and did
Code: Select all
chmod 755 .
squashed it again Now su alpha works again
