By judging from the pictures the "quick hack to connmand-ui-gtk left-menu click" seems to work

just to be sure do you have to keep left click pressed when choosing
service with connman-ui?

anyway around it?

yes i keep pressing the left click until the pointer touch the list service area. then i release it, but the list is still there, not going to hidden.

maybe we can hack the source code?

as soon as I release left-click, even if the pointer is over the list area, the pop-up gets hidden.

I had a quick look thinking since right-click work, I could use it as a template for left-click.
But I thought it looked like a snake's nest in there. Also left-click is dynamically generated
and right-click static so it is not exactly the same.

I would put time into this effort.

Maybe you are very good at C?

Why don't we simply ping connman-ui's author and politely ask him to patch the code?
Just a thought ;)

Go ahead.

I just figured connamn-ui is the way the author wants it to be!?

alphat is using alphaOS_14.5 as its base and is using archlinux packages.
in short description this OS is arch based OS but with initrd from fd630, puppylinux like init.

- UEFI idea from fd630 too
- using stable kernel 3.13 .config is from alphaOS 14.5

checkout: http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=92727

No idea about alternative window manager but my guess would be just as hard

about initrd read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Initrd
basically away to boot linux
