Re: readonly changes.fs4

thanks Sccoby, her is the error:

Code: Select all

This program relies on sbcomb with version higher that . found sbcomb version

the sbcomb version too low. I searched. I couldnt find anything higher that 0.6. There is one 0.6-1, that does not work either.

No worries. I never expected. It made me feel guilty posting here and taking too much of your time. I am serious.

Yep, Will definitely make a 32-bit version. However I have some other things to do first.

Re: readonly changes.fs4

Thanks Scooby for creating the connectshare. I have given it a try. Here are the things that stopped me from going forward: Step 1, in the /home/,config/connectshares/ folder, there is only one file, connectshares.conf. there is supposed to be a template file. So there is nothing for me follow that ...

Re: scoobytools

Thanks Scooby. If it is convenient, would you be able to make a 32-bit version of the tool?

It bascially transfers the content of savefile into a bundle. does it creat a new bundle or merge with an existing bundle, in my case changes.sb is already there. This is very useful, ver...

Re: readonly changes.fs4

well yes but once loaded as readonly you cannot unload savefile during that session. 1. Grab scoobytools and put in modules/ dir 2. reboot with fresh boot parameter 3. then run in terminal sb /path/to/changes.fs4 it will be loaded readonly. check output of mount command that it is so! Hi scooby, wo...

how to access network drives?

I am using the 12.3 32-bit version. The settings in the SpaceFM clearly showed that the network are mounted, but no network drive shown in the file manager. I tried to install samba. it still did not show network volumes.
