Re: How to make a bundle out of a downloaded app?

It looks like I can only activate bundles that are located at "/tmp/squashroot"... And I thought I could activate/deactivate any bundles at any locations. More like this shell script example: bundle -a my-app.sb my-app bundle -d my-app.sb Is something like that possible? Thanks in advance.

Re: How to make a bundle out of a downloaded app?

That's exactly what I was after.
Looked at the bundle code and saw that the -d option deactivates the bundle.
Pretty sweet if you ask me.

Thank you.

Re: alphaos usb - alphaos hdd

I think the solution you found is pretty good. Had the same issue when having 2 alphaos installs on one hdd. The settings (actually the lack of a save file) on the partition with a higher partition number got always ignored. The system always loaded the safe file from the partition witha smaller num...

Re: Compton compositor

I use the config file from the arch webpage I mentioned in the first post.

The only thing I changed was commenting out this line:

Code: Select all

# no-dock-shadow = true;

because I like the shadow of tint2.

Compton compositor

If you guys want shadows and stuff on your windows try compton. Compton is a lightweight, standalone composite manager. makesb compton and then call it with compton -c to get shadows. There are tons of options listed here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Compton Have fun.

Streamlined Control Center Code

Streamlined the code of the control center a bit. Way smaller now (same functionality). Don't have a bitbucket account, so I post it here: Hope you guys like it. /* Copyright (c) alphaOS * Written by simargl <archpup-at-gmail-dot-com> * Modified by efgee <efgee2003-at-yahoo-dot-com> * * This program...

Re: Wallpaper setter

Nice to see that you and GTK3 get along well ...as I'm not. I'm at a point of frustration with the GTK3 online documentation. Too much stuff outdated and therefore wrong - maybe it's me not them. Wasting too much time. Thinking of switching over to Qt for my programming needs. BTW: I'm not the only ...

Re: Disk Full... what now?

IMHO there must be a bug with the safe file. Had alphaos running on real hardware and had the initial safe-file size at 100M. Resizing the file at boot works (resized to 2048M the max allowable) but the correct size is not reported/available. The file size grew but the available space (aufs) is stil...
