Re: Building alphaOS from source

Hi Sim, Thanks for the further explanation. However, I still can't figure out how and where to execute the following command in order to compile linux-api-headers: spkg -c linux-api-headers :( In /mnt/home/data/spkg/packages/install/mnt/home/data/spkg/def-scripts/04_devel folder, there is a "li...

Re: frisbee

Hi scooby,
Can't wait to try frisbee 1.2. So far, both frisbee and connman work here without any problem.
Keep up the good work mate. :)

Re: Building alphaOS from source

Hi again sim, I seem to be making the wrong moves somewhere in my attempt to build alphaos as per your instructions. So far, I am at Phase 2.2. By chroot, I suppose you mean the folder /mnt/home/data/spkg/packages/install right? Well, I executed dhcpcd while in that folder and everything seem ok. Ho...

Re: Building alphaOS from source

Hi sim,
I am trying to build alphaos as per your instructions. However, I think synchronizing paka's repository base should rather be invoked with:
CODE: SELECT ALL

Code: Select all

paka -Sy

and not

Code: Select all

paka -Syu

as the latter does nothing. Probably a typo.
Cheers.

Re: alphaOS 15.0

Hooray! Version15.0 ends the alphaos drought :) . Thanks sim. Writing from it now. Connman connected after doing the following: 1. Selected wifi "On" by right-clicking the network icon while disabling "wired". 2. A list of available networks appeared but were difficult to read si...

Is the database error very troubling or only a nuisance?

I think it is just a nuisance. Nonetheless, for completeness sake, would be cool if its no more.
Cheers.

Re: 32-bit version of AlphaOS 14.5

Hi tigs, I created abiword.sb on a fresh frugal install of 32-bit version of AlphaOS 14.5 without savefile and it loaded without any errors. See below: [root@alphaos ~]# makesb abiword ==> Cleaning packages cache ==> Downloading abiword error: invalid name for database entry '--' error: duplicated d...
