I second that - it didnt work. Copied over the files from install into alpa_12 and resquashed. Removed symlink sbin --> bin rebooted and got no wlan interface with ifconfig (Scooby mentioned something about building virtualbox that's also affected by modules not loading.) It does indeed seem a more general fix so far. More testers? John? Scooby? Smil99? Tried the fix on a iwlwifi laptop, erasing "iwldvm" from modules-line in rc.conf and symlinked /sbin to /bin. Works! Also when I built virtualbox I had the same problem and applied the same fix. Seems like ...
