Re: Activate/Deactivate bundles

Hi Scooby, can you explain in what situation would that be useful? That command for adding modules is taken from one of functions in livekitlit from slax initramfs, that is how modules are activated on boot by default. Well, without knowing how linux live test alpha os is layering its union I had u...

Re: Activate/Deactivate bundles

I propose a parameter for were in union bundle will be added

i e
mount -n -o remount,add:1:/mnt/live/memory/bundles/$BUNDLE=rr aufs /

let the 1 be possible to specify on commandline as an arbitrary place in union or if omitted defaults to 1

Re: 12.2. Testing iso based on Linux Live Kit

Will DL and try this Linux Live Kit There is no GUI for bundles (modules) activating and deactivating. you are talking about sfs_load here huh? sfs_load is very cluttered. So this new alphaOS_12.2-20131028-LL.Test.iso also uses unionfs right? Then mounting should not be so hard. There is some afterw...

Re: makesfs for AUR

Since I have run most of the time on regular mount with ntfs with 777 on everything,
I dont think this matters all that much.

Only when things refuses to start like virtualbox it's a problem,

You can still use a doc with 777 right!

Re: makesfs for AUR

In what context do you need that?

I know for certain that I got virtualbox to run dont remember
if it was on ntfs with permissions or if i resquashed and chmod'ed
everything with 755?

Re: Wireless problems workaround

I used virtualbox for months with modprobe in /bin without problems, only had to add modprobe vboxdrv to /opt/VirtualBox/VBox.sh, script vboxsfs does that automatically. mv install/opt/VirtualBox/VBox.sh install/opt/VirtualBox/VBox.sh.tmp sed -e'/^# because the user might not want to run a VM but o...
